VICE-PRESIDENT
Richard Moon Qualified E.S.O. 1988 Richard came over to N.Z pretty smartish in 1989 largely due in pursuit of the glorious Mandy. He is now married to the aforementioned gloriousness (who said it wouldn’t last…) with two great kids Becky and Chris. After precipitous learning curve working for Max (who hasn’t?) between ’89-’91 established own practice in Warkworth. Have been quietly pushing my barrow from then on. Outside of practice life (when there is one) Richards interests include charging around on a very large horse, operating a dangerous looking forge, practicing the art of blade-smithing and tinkering with large Bedford horse truck because that’s what you have to do when you’ve got a large Bedford horse truck. Richard was co-opted onto the Committee in 2007, elected member 2008 and somehow ended up as V.P 2009. Despite all of the nonsense as above, Richard remains committed to the profession, as without it he will be out of a job. Currently he has the role of keeping an eye on the ACC portfolio and is striving to enable the profession to join the electronic age. In his spare time he has collaborated to create the super-duper practice management system for Osteopaths (and other Allied Health Practitioners) that can be found at www.quick-as.com What more can I say…

TREASURER
Max Belcher Max graduated in 1983 from the Pacific College of Osteopathic Medicine, Sydney. He joined the NZRO in 1984 and held the role of Treasurer several times. He is currently the OSNZ treasurer and enjoys taking an active role in all aspects of the Society. He is one of the Directors of Whangarei Treatment Providers Ltd, an integrated Health practice in Whangarei. Max is part of the Osteopathic modality in the Clinic and has a broad spectrum approach to treatment, utilising structural and OCF but with an increasing involvement with using the concepts and style of osteopathy that Dr Robert Fulford was engaged in. He also has a long involvement with Homeopathy and has a synergistic relationship with other practitioners when treating patients to achieve fast resolution. In his spare time Max is dedicated to maintaining moribund cars for no better reason than prove the adage that given time and enough money anything can be done.
