Event DetailsLOOK UP, LOOK DOWN, LOOK NORMAL - An osteopathic perspective on Posture, its causes and our role in active and passive interventions.
The aim of the first day of the course is teach participants the importance of recognising postural drivers by becoming more aware of information often already gathered in the case history and examination as well as expanding the questioning and testing done to identify the osteopathic role in helping postural dysfunction via treatment interventions.
The focus of the second day of the course is to teach participants how to recognise a particular foot type that can have marked negative effects on posture and pain and also be a reason for treatment and exercise intervention failure. Linked with the above course, this course explains how the use of the Posture Control Insole can be used as an appropriate and important treatment intervention.
